As well as being durable and resilient, Balance / Gymnastics Balls are one of the most comfortable and versatile pieces of exercise equipment. They are particularly suitable for Yoga and Pilates but can be used for a range of aerobic exercises.

When using, it will challenge your balance and when sitting on it, there will become a point where you will find it difficult to maintain your balance.

The benefits of using a Balance Ball include:

* Improved overall well being.

It is important to choose the correct size of ball and have it inflated correctly. When seated on the ball, your thigh should be parallel or slightly above parallel to the ground. However, those with back pain should use a slightly larger ball so the thigh is above parallel.
